Sharon Turner

Sharon Turner (CAM, CAPS) has extensive real estate experience – beginning her career with First Asset Mortgage in 1988, as a residential portfolio manager. Her responsibilities included property supervision, property rehabilitation and asset sales. In 1989 she joined First City Bank's appraisal department as a research analyst. Ms. Turner was responsible for data collection, research and analysis for commercial real estate.

Ms. Turner left First City Bank to pursue an accounting degree with the University of Houston (UH), graduating in 1998. She joined the accounting department with Academy Outdoors Stores responsible for Fixed Asset (real estate) accounting. Ms. Turner managed construction budgets, cost allocations, contractor invoices, land acquisition accounting, leases, rehabilitation budgets, etc.

In 2007, Ms. Turner joined Hartman Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) assuming responsibility for acquisitions in their Houston Corporate headquarters. Hartman is a full service commercial real estate investment company that acquires, rehabilitates and manages Office, Retail, and Industrial real estate investments. Her responsibilities include property acquisition, development, loan package development, operations analysis, lender relations, investor relations, and financial analysis.

Ms. Turner completed her IROC, CAM, and CAPS designations through the National Apartment Association. She was named Independent Rental Owner of the Year in 2013 by the Houston Apartment Association and garnered similar honors in 2014 by the San Antonio, Texas, and National Apartment Associations. Ms. Turner is responsible for operations management, accounting, interior renovations, and process improvement.
